Parliamentary arithmetic.. from Swiss Cottage.

FULL marks to Lewis Baston who manages to compile The Guardian’s online guide to the upcoming elections and specifically what might happen in Hampstead and Kilburn without revealing  he is part of the Labour team in the area. He is standing for a seat on the council in Swiss Cottage. Not much hint of bias, he fairly reflects that the constituency is a genuine three horse race and a barometer for the wider question of who will form the next government.

“It could be won with fewer than a third of the votes case,” explains Baston.

  1. Thank you! Yes, I try to be professional when I do election analysis and keep my own partisan preferences out of it. And 100 words didn’t give much space for doing a full declaration of interest in the Guardian piece.
