The obvious questions..

EVERYONE has noted these two points from yesterday… but they should go up here for the record anyway.

1. Why is Vince Cable so prominent on the side of the Lib Dem battle bus? And does it suggest a lack of confidence by the leader to sell the party’s election campaign on his own?

2. Why unveil a bus on a day when you’ve decided to divert money from the roads budget to invest in the rail network? Any spinmeister worth his or her salt knows that leaves an open goal for opponents.

    Cos it’s the day before the bus went into service as it was obvious that the GE was being called… and high speed rail is a major discussion point – the two co-incided naturally…
