QUICKIE: If you did check the political odds while betting on the gee-gees today, you will have found at Ladbrokes that Glenda Jackson is given the same chance of winning in Hampstead and Kilburn for Labour, as Jo Shaw is given for winning against Frank Dobson for the Liberal Democrats in Holborn and St Pancras. Both are a 7/2 flutter. Now, who should be happier with that? After all, many Labour observers you speak to aren’t even considering the idea that Frank will lose his seat at this election.
