Final hours on the Ladbrokes list

TIME is running out for a flutter on Hampstead and Kilburn at the General Election, so here’s a late look at what might be Ladbrokes’ closing odds. You won’t make much money on Ed Fordham – who, remember, Labour and the Tories say ‘can’t win here’ – as he is now at 4/9. Plenty of confident Conservatives will fancy a punt on their man, Chris Philp, at 11/4. But who’s going to bet on Glenda Jackson now?

The price of 13/2 is a drift from the price of 9/4 when I first blogged on the betting back in January, way back when you could only double your cash on Glenda. Labour members who still insist all is not lost – them lot, operating out of a converted betting shop in Kilburn High Road – should hurry down to Ladbrokes, quick-smart.
