A mystery stink gets worse there each day. Either the police or the council – or both, who knows? – have worked on this troublesome junction to ensure it is no longer such a regular scene of crack dealers dosing addicts. Anecdotally, people seem to agree that market in that location has been disrupted. But now comes a smell to make you mouth-guff. It’s a foul stench, like rotting fish mixed with socks filled with sick-bile.
But where’s it coming from. Does the boarded-up building, once home to the Labour Party offices in Camden Town, now locked by grilled windows, hold any clues to its source?
