BELATED answer to last week’s quiz – and three points to Labour councillor Peter Brayshaw, who correctly identifies the Karl Marx bust in the members room at the Town Hall. It has been sitting their for more than 25 years apparently, a gift from a Soviet delegation to Camden in the 1980s. Labour, given a box of an office while in opposition, love to point out that the Marx bust survived four years of Lib Dem and Conservative rule at Camden Town Hall. They expected to be swept away into a cupboard.
No points to the guesser who said it was Lenin in the leader’s office.
