A spot of light reading

UH-OH! Let’s hope there’s not a letter from the government lost in this pile here promising billions of pounds to Camden Council. This sneaky snap sent to me from behind closed door at the Town Hall appears to be the bulging inbox of Camden Council’s finance chief Theo Blackwell. Looks like lots of homework there for the poor chap. I’m sure it will be cleared by the end of the weekend.

Nobody said being a councillor in a financial crisis was going to be fun..

Contrary to impression, it’s actually all read. But I’ve been trying to get a filing cabinet for the last 7 years, to no avail – but that’s Camden for you. (Bet you they have filinf cabinets in Islington – in fact I know they have, I’ve seen them).

Either that or a massive pile of papers at home – and that’s quite a lot.

  5. Relax Theo, I was only teasing. I am well aware that they give you lots to read.
