The Thorntons
SO, Ed Miliband has called his new bub, Samuel, but did you see one of kiddio’s middle names: Thornton.
I think he should have gone for ‘Winthrop’, but no doubt a certain Lib Dem up in Kilburn will approve of the choice.
Exhibit A: Sammy M’s birth certificate
Exhibit B: Election results paper for an election in Hampstead Town ward in Camden.
Actually, the family story is that he was shot by his own side while leading a foolhardy charge against the opposition: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theodore_Winthrop – which has never happened to distant relatives. Not ever.
Theres posh for you Thornton indeed, hope Ed has not blighted his lads chances in politics, it has not helped the other Thornton a lot!!

Well it’s not the first case I’ve heard of, and it’s a bit more modest than Samuel Double-Barrell (at which the Daily Mail would go crazy: “he can’t even assert himself in his own home!”)
Dear Richard, did you hear about the police arresting a highly dangerous criminal at the town hall last week? Word is this crimbo was armed with a highly dangerous note book and pen, and if it wasn’t for the quick thinking of a vigilant council officer, a serious incident of national security could have occurred.
Whoop’s touched a nerve Conrad,
This post really is a bit much from Richard Quintillian-Barnabas Osley..
