Who says Early Day Motions are a waste of time?

SO, nobody has signed it yet… but Conservative MP David Morris is clearly intent on showing that Early Day Motions at the House of Commons aren’t a waste of time and effort. No words necessary from me, just the text of his carefully crafted suggestion:

EDM 1418

DAVID HASSELHOFF AND MORECAMBE WINTER GARDENS
08.02.2011

Morris, David That this House notes that David Hasselhoff visited the precincts of the House on 8 February 2011; further notes that he pledged his support for the reopening of Morecambe Winter Gardens; believes that this demonstrates the international significance of the Winter Gardens; further believes that reopening them would reinstate an important part of the UK’s heritage and bring vital regeneration to the town of Morecambe; and wishes Mr Hasselhoff good luck in his participation in Britain’s Got Talent and in his other projects in the UK.

  1. Morris may be a moron, but he’s the sptting image of ashen faced Gillingham manager Andy Hessenthaler.

Obviously, Hessenthaler is by far the more important public figure.
