Don’t forget the popcorn

FAR be it for me to say it’s all a bit OTT, but wow-wee… a lot of work went into the photoshoppy AV leaflets in Holborn, didn’t it? This grand effort looks like a film poster you see on the walls of the underground promoting the next action blockbuster

In Holborn, the shoot ’em up idea of ‘No to AV’ went straight to video… The referendum results on Thursday showed that the majority in that neck of the woods actually favoured the proposed change.

PS: Awale Olad is the musketeer on the left, Julian is on the right…

  1. Has our new Deputy Leader of the Council put out a leaflet reading ‘Say NO to STATE SCHOOLS’ yet?

Our samples from each box suggetsed Holborn ward was a tie….. Heavy yes boxes were Kentish Town, Camden Town and Dartmouth Park. They tipped Camden just to Yes despite large No vote in Highgate N6, Hampstead, most council estate boxes and most of both West Hampstead wards!

The Nation has spoken and says No to AV.

Good to see that our New Deputy Leader has her finger on the national political
    pulse.

    AV would only promote mediocrity.

Sarah large samples from each box. we got the turnout totals from each box and ran a proper PD by PD calculation. Was fun you should have come!

David – Erm…I seem to recall you called a No to AV win in Camden on the basis of your large samples! Maybe you should look again at your West Hampstead figures.

It was fun though, as was the campaign. Shame Camden Labour missed out on that too.

By a handful by a tiered man on a blackberry. he was out by 10 000. Only when we did it properly did we get the math right. Also your Agents thought it was a narrow No win as well. Lesson take a laptop to a count, as we did at GE and were out by 100. Sadly in this referendum we had to decide, deliver leaflets or worry about the finessing at the count. Anyway it was a huge NO win!
