Interviews aren’t about winning and losing…
ADVICE has gone out to young Tories and new university students in a pack about how to start campaigns, organise groups and deal with the media. If lucky enough to get interview time, the stars of the future are advised that interviews are ‘not confrontations’. It’s not about winning.
…well I don’t know who wins this runaround from conference earlier between an interviewer who might just see it all as a confrontation after all and a confused minister trying to explain the money frazzle, but it’s bloody painful for all concerned. Mainly the viewer. But Treasury minister Justine Greening must have wished at some point [probably at around 0.09 on this video] that teleports had been invented.
Classic car crash politics. Does not know detail of own policy. Basically it seems the same as QE, it’s just they don’t want to call it that because Labour started it and Osborne said you cant borrow your way out of debt.
My guess is that you won’t see much ‘credit easing’ in the future.

Not sure who won this one? Gordon seems pleased.
