JOURNALIST Pavan Amara dropped in on the London Welsh Centre in Gray’s Inn Road for St David’s Day last week. Her report about the good work they do down there is in today’s Camden New Journal. For St D’s Day, they had a giant card-notepad-messageboard thing on display where visitors were asked to leave their thoughts on the best things about Wales. Under the inflatable daff, you may be able to make out the words ‘beer’, ‘tidy’ and ‘thank you for the Stereophonics’. The most intriguing, however, is surely the red marker pen at the bottom: PROUD PESSIMISTS.
(PS… I don’t know what the wild young farmers thing is about on the other side)
