Boris Johnson vs Angry Cabbie

BORIS Johnson took questions from all comers outside Waitrose in Finchley Road yesterday – including an angry cab driver who wanted us to stop going on about all these cyclists and ask when’s a cyclist going to pay for a cycle lane? When are they going to put their hands in their pockets? Boris ummed that a cyclist’s taxes helped foot the bill.

    Osser,

Maybe you missed a bit of the proceedings one awkward cabbie asking a question on his favourite gripe was no match for the other 5 or 6 who cheered Boris’s arrrival at the taxi rank or those who honked waved and cheared Boris as they drove past.

Time for a little balanced reporting don’t you think?

Kens very dead meat, won’t a tenner on it or will you whimp out of a decent bet?

C’mon Osser put your money where your pen is!

Sore Arms: Watch out, you sound more and more like Nigel Rumble every day…

No bet for me though, you’d have to give me 50-1 on that tenner. Still, you all had money on Chris Philp to win in 2010 didn’t you?

Non-event of the week = B J in conservative swiss cottage.
A token visit as every con. cllr.(.ALL 9/10) has been leaflettting outside waitrose since a few weeks ; in the hope of being selected leader of the minority party in camden !
btw – Ken’s ‘regular’ waitrose in swiss cottage is a popular spot for FibDims too…seen John Bryant and Keith Moffitt ogling at passer-byes this morning and a weekend or two ago, the
FibDims were seen with a table there ..hawking their wares/
