New Labour man at City Hall Andrew Dismore – the former MP who unseated Tory Brian Coleman – is told today that the job is all ‘a bit of a cushy number’. Correspondence comes from AM Poppy, the Barnet Green Party candidate who was standing for the same job against both Mr Dismore and Mr Coleman. “It’s not entirely what you’re going to do on the Assembly,” she writes. To be fair to Dizzy, he did say on Friday night that he would be a far more visible ‘street campaigner’ politician than those who had gone before. Let’s see how he gets on.
