A question for Georgia

PEOPLE have been asking whether I just didn’t see the Sunday Times article a couple of weeks ago suggesting that Kentish Town councillor Georgia Gould was being lined up for a parliamentary seat in Camden. I asked her about it and she said she wasn’t. Journalists never just leave it at that and her answer is not to say she will never be an MP. Potential candidates are always cagey in the early days and I’ve lost count of the number of times one of her council colleagues has intimated she is destined for parliament at some stage. It’s just she seems fatigued by ‘sources’ linking her to the seats and the story of who will stand for Labour if Frank or Glenda or both stand down is likely to run and run for a little longer yet. The queue of those interested extends around the block. Time for a little comic strip…

  1. ,…isn’t Georgia a backbencher in Camden / being groomed to sit around and get public money for no real contribution > btw – salaries of mp’s are over £68,000 + perks !
Labour candidates win by Union Votes … ;- no ?

    My money’s still on Chada.

  3. Doesn’t Georgia work for the Tony Blair Faith Foundation? Anyone connected with that war criminal would miss out on a lot of otherwise labour votes
