TEE-HEEING Conservatives armed with photoshop were circulating a doctored version of a photo in The Times yesterday. It’s a niche joke, reminding Ed Fordham, their old Lib Dem adversary in Hampstead and Kilburn, of his incessant election claim that he only needed 474 votes to make the Commons at the 2010 general election. The Conservatives detested the ‘474 To Win’ slogan as it tried to muscle them out of being seen as the major challenge to Glenda Jackson. Almost three years later, the blue photoshoppers recalled their irritation after spotting Fordham at the front of a same sex marriage protest. Battle scars can take time to heal.
