Dame Moira Gibb, Camden Council’s former chief executive, got to wear this colourful hat and gown as Kingston University gifted her an honourary doctrate.
Dr Dame Moira left at the Town Hall at the end of 2011 and has since been investigating social work in the wake of the Baby P scandal.
In her final interview before leaving Camden, she talked about the collapse of plans to share a chief exec with Islington.
“That job would have been significantly different and I would have stayed,” she said. “I think it’s a shame it didn’t work because there would have been savings in the long run.”
