This is the world service: Alexei Sayle’s cat is missing

IMG_5022BEFORE we stop mbanging on about the New Journal’s search for Alexei Sayle’s missing cat Wilf Mbanga, have a listen to the larks on BBC World Service from the other week. Sayle and the real life Wilf Mbanga, an exiled campaigning journalist, explained the whole story with much mirth. Thankfully, Wilf Mbanga, the cat one, was found in Primrose Hill last week after a fortnight on the run, somehow managing the cross the Euston. The Independent on Sunday described Pet Detective Tom Foot’s work as a contender for a ‘scoop of the year’ yesterday. We just like to see a happy ending.
