Adonis saves Highbury and Islington
BARON Andrew Adonis of Camden Town demanded we RT’d him earlier this year as a way of getting TfL to fix the troublesome escalators at Highbury and Islington tube. I didn’t bother. Did you? I thought he just wanted more Twitter followers. A whole twenty of his 11,000 followers did make the effort and there was vindication for the Baron today as TfL tweeted that it had all been sorted two months earlier than planned. Such campaign success must have made the slapdown it initially sparked from Sky’s Adam Boulton sting just a little less.

Unacceptable for TfL to take 9 months to replace H & I escalators. Classic failure to put the public first. Ps RT to get TfL to do its job
