Monday file 16/12/13: Nando’s to look into Tulip points scam accusations

* AFTER Labour parliamentary candidate Tulip Siddiq’s fury at being accused of faking stamps on her Nando’s chicken loyalty cards, a pledge from the company to investigate:

* FAREWELL to actor Peter O’Toole, who died yesterday A worthy time to recall to the anecdote published here before from Ken Livingstone’s memoirs, You Can’t Say That: “Ben Whitaker became Hampstead’s first MP in 1966 when the actor Peter O’Toole hired a coach with Guinness on tap and went round the pubs of Kilburn promising a free drink and ride to the polling station for anyone voting Labour.”

I was sorry to hear of Peters death, it is widely known that Peter was a cricket fan but one enduring memory I have of him was of Peter in cricket cap, blazer and white flannels kneeling and all fours on the square of Brondesbury CC circled by a large clutch of young lads bums in the air receving a spin and seam bowling lesson from him.

As for the bar chart the Lib Dems continue to insult the intellect of Camdens voters, and they will pay for this! 25 to 13 last time out I reckon 13 to 7 or 8 in 2014. Want a tenner on it Osser?
