Magnus Nielsen and Maxine Spencer chosen as UKIP’s general election hopes

THE turnout may not have matched that colossal gathering of Labour members who came together to choose Sir Keir Starmer as their parliamentary candidate in Holborn and St Pancras, but in the St Pancras Community Centre last night there were enough UKIP supporters to select their own battle-ready hopes. And there will be some familiar faces on the bill come May. Magnus Nielsen, seen here last night in a Union Jack tie, will run once more in Hampstead and Kilburn, while Maxine Spencer, a council election candidate last year, takes on Sir Keir.

  1. Can you confirm these are the correct details for the selections?

Hampstead & Kilburn: Magnus Nielson (reselection)
Holborn & St Pancras: Martine Spencer (reselection)
    Brent North: Martin Ferguson
    Brent Central: Lord Stephen Priestley

I haven’t been following UKIP in Brent I’m afraid. But it’s Maxine not Martine.
