STURGEY-MANIA has spread from Scotland to the Holborn and St Pancras follow, it seems. There is no Scottish National Party candidate on the card in Camden – obviously. But canvassers totting up the scores in Highgate’s window poster war have been given a hint that one or two voters might just think that’s a great shame. In a street dotted with Labour and Green posters, this SNP alternative sticks out of one bay window.
Maybe it is meant as a message to Labour leader Ed Miliband, who lives about 100-200 yards and must occasionally pass by on his way to the shops, that he shouldn’t be too quick to rule out a coalition with the nationalists.
