Natalie Bennett doesn’t whip her Green MP

IF you listen closely, you can hear radio panellists Tulip Siddiq and Tim Loughton united in a snorting giggle as she says it. Ahead of a likely vote on bombing on Syria this week, Natalie Bennett, Green Party leader and former parliamentary candidate in Holborn and St Pancras, told Radio 4’s Westminster Hour last night that she did not whip votes in the House of Commons. The party’s only MP, Caroline Lucas, will be relieved.
