Labour runs out of questions?

IS everybody looking forward to next Monday night’s full council meeting? Labour councillor Heather Johnson must be, as she seems itching for a public opportunity in which Camden Labour can trash assess housing policies in Conservative Barnet.

So much so, in fact, Labour has handed Cllr Johnson not one but two question slots on the agenda. This is the part of the meeting in which you might think backbench councillors are bursting with queries, as they can ask the cabinet members about any subject they like.

Only a jackal would suggest the doubled-up Labour excitement around making sure this particular question gets in, both orally and on paper, has anything to do with the fact that voters in Camden and Barnet are coming together in May to choose a London assembly to represent both boroughs.
