Wild rumpus

LOCAL authorities got a familiar bop on the head last week when the press reminded them, after a classic old chestnut Freedom of Information Act request, about the artwork owned by councils, but not currently on public display. It never gets old to journalists, and it’s an ‘easy page three’ in newsroom speak. Camden Council seem determined not to fall into the same trap, however, and have put as much art as possible up in the corridors of the Crowndale Centre, the new Town Hall. Including Maurice Sendak’s superbly accurate print of a full council meeting.
