THERE was a warning for Labour from the Financial Times’ commentator Janan Ganesh, the Arsenal supporting columnist who you also see on the Sunday Politics, last week. He suggested that should Labour choose Jeremy Corbyn to be its new leader, it would be the equivalent of Arsenal making club mascot, the Gunnersaurus, their manager. This would be terrible. The Gunnersaurus has no idea on tactics and training, and would probably play Arteta every match. I’d prefer Klopp.
Corbyn as Labour leader. No historic analogy does it justice. Not Foot, not IDS. Would be like Arsenal appointing Gunnersaurus as manager.

Something to ponder. In the meantime, here’s the dinosaur (no switcharoo jokes please) out and about at a community festival in Archway on Saturday… seen here simply welcoming the local MP and deputy mayor to the festivities, and not, I’m assured, sending out a coded message to Janan that he’d be delighted to take over from Arsene Wenger.
